There are no slaughterhouses or wholesale meat depots
in this District. Food shops, restaurants and premises
where food is prepared, stored or sold have been frequently
inspected and found to be generally satisfactory.

The following items of foodstuffs, amounting to 2 tons 4 cwts. 0 qr. 16 lbs., were examined in retail shops as a result of complaints from the shopkeepers or the public, and were condemned:
