TUBERCULOSIS
The number of new pulmonary and non-pulmonary cases
notified during 1951 was 60 and 6 respectively; these figures show
increases of 5 and 1 in comparison with 1950. Inward transfers
decreased from 48 to 36 and the outward transfers increased from
28 to 29. The total number of cases in the district is 561, a percentage
of -822 of the population, which shows a slight increase over
the 1950 figure of -781.
