The numbers treated up to the end of the year were as follows:
Applications received 578
Children received three doses 538
Of those who have had the complete course 391 have been Schick
Tested and 45 were found to be reactors.
All reactors receive a further injection of 1.5 c.c.s. of T.A.M.
and are subsequently re-tested.
In connection with the Diphtheria Immunisation Scheme I should
like to place on record my appreciaton of the help given by the
Officers and Members of the Ruislip Northwood Division of the
British Red Cross Society who have been of great assistance to me.
All applications for immunisation are to be made on consent
cards to be obtained from the Welfare Centres, Health Visitors,
Schools and the Public Health Department.
Clinics and Treatment Centres.
Maternity and Child Welfare.
There are five Welfare Centres holding meetings weekly; the
Medical Officer attends each week, and two Ante Natal Clinics are
held weekly.
