Bakehouses.
Sixteen in number, these are kept in a satisfactory condition.
Food Shops and Stores.
Visits are paid to premises where food is prepared, stored and
sold.
Sale of Food and Drugs Act, Etc.
This is administered by the Middlesex County Council.
Shops Acts, 1912-1936.
During the year 104 inspections, enquiries and special observations
were carried out under the above Acts, in 22 cases proprietors
were warned for minor offences.
Ventilation no complaints.
Temperature ditto
Sanitary conveniences; in several cases it was found necessary to
call the occupiers attention to separate accommodation for sexes and
intervening ventilated space, etc. This matter is receiving attention.
Swimming Baths and Pools.
There is only one public bathing place in the Urban District, viz.:
Ruislip Reservoir, Ruislip Common, this bathing establishment
has a Club House and Cafe, it is frequently visited; the premises are
kept in excellent condition.
Verminous Premises and the Eradication of Bed Bugs.

During the year thirteen houses were found to be bug infested to the following extent:
