1. Northwood is situated in the Northern portion of
the District.
2. Eastcote is situated towards the East side of the
centre of the District.
3. Ruislip on the West side of the centre of the
District.
The levels of the land in the District vary from 120 feet
at the South, to 360 feet at the North.
The River Pinn flows from East to West through the
centre of the District.

At the time of the census, 1921, the population was
actually 9,1 13; this figure, divided by the number of inhabited
houses at the time of the census gave the number of
