There are 26 Factories and 42 Workshops in the District.
The work of the Sanitary Inspector, Mr. S. P. Bristow,
continues to be done very satisfactorily. Since the appointment
of Mr. J. Holland, as Building Inspector in 1929, Mr.
Bristow has been able to devote his whole time to the
Public Health work, and the routine inspection of the
Council Houses.
