Cemeteries.
Owing to a lack of accommodation in the Burial
ground attached to the Holy Trinity Church, Northwood,
it has been necessary for the Council to consider the
purchase of a site for a Public Cemetery.
The L.G.B. held an enquiry early in the year as to the
borrowing of money bv the Council for the purchase of
land for a Cemetery.
The land purchased is situated on the north slope of
Haste Hill, near the Metropolitan Railway line.
The Burial ground will be opened for interments
in 1914.
