Two cases of Scarlet Fever and 1 of Diphtheria occurred
in the Shoreditch Cottage Homes, Hornchurch and were removed
to Metropolitan Asylums Board Hospitals. The deaths from Scarlet
Fever and Diphtheria were those of persons domiciled in the
district but dying in hospitals outside the district and only 1 of
these was notified.
