Poliomyelitis
No cases were notified.
The following table gives the number of second injections and the number of third injections given during the year ended 31st December, 1962:—

Food Poisoning
Only one case of food poisoning was notified.
Scarlet Fever
There were 8 cases of scarlet fever notified as against 29 in 1961, and one
was removed to hospital.
The disease generally was of a mild type and there were no "return"
cases. No deaths were recorded.
Sonne Dysentery
There were three cases of Sonne Dysentery notified during the year.
Measles
A total of 15 cases was notified during 1962 compared with 440 the
previous year. There were no deaths.
Whooping Cough
Cases were notified throughout the year and totalled three compared with
eight cases the previous year. There were no deaths.
