COLLECTION & DISPOSAL OF HOUSE REFUSE.
The house refuse is contained in movable galvanized
iron dustbins with proper covers, and is collected throughout

a bi-weekly collection.
The refuse is loaded into trucks at the Penge Station

The number of loads collected during the year was

The cost of collection from houses, and disinfection of
dustbins amounted to £1141 16s. 11d., and the cost of removal
by rail to £828 2s. 0d., making a total cost of collection
