(b) Chest Clinic. All patients are referred to the Bromley Chest
Clinic, Tiger Lane, Bromley.
The above are under the control of the Bromley Group Hospital
Management Committee, whose offices are at Farnborough Hospital.
(c) Orpington Hospital. General hospital with provision for 753
beds. (108 closed at present), including Part III residential
accommodation for County use.
This hospital is controlled by the Orpington and Sevenoaks Group
Hospital Management Committee.
(d) Venereal Diseases. Patients are referred to the various
pitals with specialist clinics for dealing with such diseases.

Diseases of Animals Acts.
There is an Officer stationed in Orpington who carries out functions
of this service.

Ambulance Service.
Orpington area is served from the ambulance depot at 12, Hayes
Lane, Bromley, where there are 29 ambulances and 20 sitting case
cars, most of which are radio controlled.
Day Nurseries.
There are no Day Nurseries in the area.
Home Nursing Service.
Five Home Nurses and 4 Home Nurse/Midwives operate in the
area. A day service only is provided at the present time.
Home Nursing is provided on medical certification only, and is
free.
Health Visiting.
Eight Health Visitors and School Nurses, and 2 Tuberculosis
