According to the life tables the average height for children
aged seven years last birthday is 116.8 c.m., and weight 22.57 kilos,
giving an equivalent of 193 grammes per c.m. For the purposes
of this enquiry and for the same reasons set forth under "Infants,"
I adopted the standard 175 as likely to embrace all who could be
considered as well nourished, between 175 and 165 were considered
moderately nourished, and below 165 as subnormal.—(D. C.
