Of the 198 deaths from Zymotic Diseases 159 (over 80%) were due to the three non-notifiable Diseases:—
Measles, Whooping Cough and Diarrhoea.
The Zymotic Death Rate for England and Wales for 1896 is 2.18 per thousand
