SECTION E.
INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
(a) MILK SUPPLY. Samples of designated milks submitted to the
bacteriologist during the year passed the prescribed tests.
There is one producer in the district licensed by the
County Council under the Milk (Special Designations) Orders for the
production of accredited milk.

Two milk dealers were licensed during the year to produce pasteurised milk. The table below gives particulars of the other twenty-one licenses granted during the year.:-

been made.
There are now twenty-nine persons registered in accordance
with the Food and Drugs Act, 1938, as under:-

the district

(b) MEAT. There is no Ministry of Food slaughterhouse in this
district.
