CLOSET ACCOMMODATION.
Every house connected with the sewer has a water closet provided with
flushing apparatus. Of the eightv premises not connected with the sewer
a number have water closets and the remainder pail closets of which, as
previously mentioned, the Council undertake the cleansing.
SCAVENGING.
House Refuse is removed weekly from the whole of the District and
disposed of by crude tipping at a spot remote from any dwelling.
Portable galvanised iron ashbins are in use throughout the district.
SANITARY INSPECTION OF AREA.

During the year one hundred and ten complaints were received with respect to the following matters, viz.:—
