The Council have adopted New Bye-laws, hut these have not yet received the sanction of the L. G. B., and the Old Bye-laws made by the Uxbridge Rural District Council in 1860 are still in force.

This work has been stopped by the Council until they have built houses to accommodate Tenants who will be dislodged.
Tenders have been received for the erection of 51 houses and the work will be commenced as soon as the L.G.B. have sanctioned the Loan.
