In addition to Periodic Medical Inspections, the School
Doctors see a number of children by special arrangement, sometimes
as a follow up of previous examinations and sometimes at
the special request of parent, teacher or school nurse.
2406 follow up examinations were carried out and 1381
special examinations arranged.
As a result of the special examinations 1125 conditions were found to require treatment and a further 740 kept under observation, including the following:-
