The Zymotic Death-rate— deaths from the following
infectious diseases: Smallpox, Measles, Scarlatina, Diphtheria,
Whooping Cough, Diarrhoœa, Fever (Typhus, Typhoid and Continued)
was .47. This decrease was due to the entire absence of
death from Diarrhoea, Enteric Fever, Croup and Measles.
