course of three injections of T.A.F. The Schick Test was
applied to 506 children who had previously been immunised,
and of the 474 of these who were subsequently examined,
470 were negative and 4 positive. Thus 99.2% had been successfully
immunised. No immunised child contracted
diphtheria in 1937.
I wish once more to record my appreciation of the
valuable co-operation of the head teachers in making- this
scheme a success.
