The sample of Glaubers salt enumerated l.s adulterated above was
Reported by the Public Analyst :'to contain the equivalent of 223*8^,
sodium sulphate whereas Glauber' salt should lot contain more than the
equivalent of 102^ The o . pie consisted of dried sodium sulphate
whereas Glauber'■ salt should consist of orystalline sodium sulphate'1.
Resultant action arising from the above was a warning letter addressed
to both retailer and wholesaler, and the subsequent removal of the
article from the market.
