DIPHTHERIA
For the second year in succession no cases of Diphtheria
occurred in the District.
DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
1,448 children were immunised for the first time and 1,662
received subsequent reinforcing doses during the year.
The number of parents accepting this service for their children
is not yet sufficiently high to warrant any sense of security.
WHOOPING COUGH IMMUNISATION
647 children were immunised against Whooping Cough during
the year.
