were received during the year. Twenty-two addresses of
outworkers were forwarded to other districts.

Four offensive trade premises are established in the district,
and during the year no complaints were received in connection
therewith.
SMOKE ABATEMENT
During the course of the year observations have been kept
on the factory chimneys of the district for nuisances due to the
issue of an excessive amount of smoke.
