TYPHOID AND PARATYPHOID FEVER.
One case of Typhoid Fever was notified during the year.
Three cases of Typhoid and Paratyphoid Fever were notified
in the previous year.
POLIOMYELITIS.
Three cases of this disease were notified during the year.
CEREBRO-SPINAL FEVER.
No cases of this disease were notified during the year.
ENCEPHALITIS LETHARGICA.
No cases of this disease were notified during the year.
MEASLES AND GERMAN MEASLES.
As from the beginning of 1932 Measles and German Measles
were made non-notifiable in Enfield with the consent of the Minister
of Health. It is, therefore, impossible to give definite figures as
to the extent of these diseases within the District.
Some idea of the extent of these diseases can be obtained,
however, by the fact that 430 cases of Measles and 160 cases of
German Measles were excluded from the Schools during the year.
ENTERITIS.
One death occurred from this disease during the year, and was
of an infant under one year of age.

ZYMOTIC DISEASES.

The following table shows the deaths registered in the District from the seven chief zymotic diseases during the past five years:—
