List of samples purchased during the year ended 31st December, 1934:

With regard to the 6 adulterated samples of milk, 3 were
informal samples in respect of which no action could be taken.
Subsequent "follow-up" samples were found to be genuine. Of
the other three cases, two vendors received letters of caution, and
in the third case no action was taken, as the deficiency reported was
quite small.
PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER, INFECTIOUS
AND OTHER DISEASES.
Diphtheria was less prevalent than during the previous year,
and no deaths occurred.
There were altogether 37 cases, with no mortality rate.
During 1933 there were 45 cases, and 2 died.
PUBLIC HEALTH (SMALLPOX) PREVENTION
REGULATIONS, 1917.
No primary vaccinations or revaccinations were done by me
during the year.
NOTIFIABLE DISEASES DURING THE YEAR 1934.

notified during the year, and the number of deaths that occurred.
