29.5 per cent, of the cases dying of tuberculosis had not previously
been notified.
It is to be observed that the number of cases of this disease
notified and deaths reported is appreciably less than in the preceding
year.
The following numbers of notifications of this disease were received from the different wards:—

There was only one death from this disease during the year, and
that of an adult over 45 years of age.
Enteritis.
Five deaths occurred from this disease during the year, all of
which were infants under one year.
Epidemic Diarrhœa.
There were five deaths from this disease during the year, all of
infants under one year of age.
