ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
The following table shews the deaths registered in the District from the seven chief zymotic diseases during the past five years:—

The actual Enfield deaths were :—Scarlet Fever, 1; and
Diphtheria, 6.
The figures for Scarlet Fever, Diphtheria, and Enteric Fever
include all the deaths that occurred at the Enfield and Edmonton's
Joint Isolation Hospital, where patients belonging to other districts
are also received.
ENFIELD ZYMOTIC DEATH RATE.
The zymotic death-rate, after deducting 17 deaths of persons
from outside the District who died in the Isolation Hospital (which
is situate in Enfield), and adding two Enfield residents who died
outside the District, is 0 52 per thousand.
