apparently a number of cases occurring on the rounds of three particular
milk-vendors, inquiries showed that they probably supplied
the largest amount of milk in Enfield, that the number of houses
affected was a very small percentage, and that no cases occurred in
the better class houses supplied by them, while personal visits both
to their respective dairies and farms showed that they were quite alive
to the necessity of absolute cleanliness in the milk business.

The following table gives the details of the number of families in each ward supplied by the different milksellers, distinguished by a letter, and also those in which only condensed milk was used:—
