From April. 1945 it was decided that certain services should be free of
charge to children under five years of age to bring them into line with
concessions granted under the the Education Act. 1944, to children under five
years of age who attend school.
The services involved include:—
(a) Orthopaedic appliances.
(b) Dental treatment for children.
(c) Spectacles and repairs.
(d) Tonsils and adenoids-oDerations.

The Clinic is held twice weekly and the following are the figures for the year:—

Five children were admitted to Stanmore during 1945. Three children
