COUNCIL'S EMPLOYEES.
During 1944 the Medical Officer of Health paid a total of 286 visits to
those employees who had been on the sick list for longer than a fortnight and,
when necessary, at fortnightly intervals. Of these 58 were "not at home"
and one had already resumed duty.
Also, during the year, two persons were examined prior to their appointment
to permanent posts.
