(j) Tuberculosis
I must extend my most grateful thanks to the Tuberculosis
Officer for the co-operation he has given to this Department when
dealing with cases referred to him.

The number of notified cases and the mortality of children of school age during 1943, taken from the records of the Public Health Department, was:-

6. FOLLOWING-UP
The same arrangements were in effect as in previous years.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR TREATMENT
The arrangements for treatment at the various Clinics were
as follows:-
Croyland Rd. Minor Ailment Clinic: A doctor was in attendance
each morning to advise parents.
Rheumatic Clinic: Held the third Thursday in
each month - by appointment.
Aural Clinic: Held the second and fourth
Friday in each month - by
appointment only.
Ophthalmic Clinic: Held every Monday, with
ional extra sessions. New
Cases by appointment only.
Orthopaedic Clinic: Held the first Friday in each
month. By appointment only.
Dental Clinics: Held at Hazelbury Rd. and
Croyland Rd. Clinics. By
appointment only.
Orthodontic Clinic: Held once a month at each
Clinic. By appointment only.
Speech Clinic: ' Four sessions held each week
at Hazelbury Road School. By
appointment only.
Ultra Violet Light Clinic: Held at Central Hall. By
appointment only.
INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Children suffering from infectious diseases were dealt with
in the same manner as in previous years.
