Municipal Milk Supply.
The growth of this work has been very rapid during the past three years,
and it should be placed on record that a far greater number of employed
men, in receipt of low wages, are now able to obtain the help available from
this Service for their wives and children. During 1937 the Council revised
the Milk Scale, making it possible for all applicants who come within the
Municipal Milk Scale to receive supplies free of charge.
Details regarding the supply of milk to the recipients are:—
