Laboratory Facilities.
These are as described in previous reports. The Medical Officer of
Health has carried out the following examinations during 1936:—

Smears from the eyelids for the presence of the gonococcus was made
in two cases, with negative results.
During the year the following material was sent to the Clinical Research
Association for bateriological examination:—
