The number of claims for fees received by the County during the year from
doctors called to Edmonton patients by midwives in accordance with the rules
of the Central Midwives' Board was 130, and the fees claimed totalled
£148 16s. Od.
Chemical Work.
The County is the Local Authority under the Sale of Food and Drugs
Act, and a summary of the work undertaken in the district is given under the
section dealing with the supervision of food.
