C.—Proceedings under Section 11 and 13 of the Housing Act, 1936 :

(1) Number of dwelling-houses in respect of which Demolition Orders were made3

The Town Council completed 378 permanent dwellings during
the year, comprising 94 houses with 3 bedrooms, 30 houses with 2
bedrooms, and 12 houses with 1 bedroom ; also 174 flats with 2
bedrooms, 52 flats with 1 bedroom and 16 bed sitting room flats.
In addition, 67 houses were built by private enterprise.
