DIPTHERIA IMMUNISATION
Opportunities to offer immunisation were reduced because o
vaccination against poliomyelitis.
The number of children between the ages of 5 and 15 years
immunised against Diphtheria during the year was 311 together
with 1,581 who were given re-inforcing injections.

made by doctor.
Cost of the School Health Service
The gross cost of the medical, dental and nursing services
was £42,129. The expenditure is subject to Education grant.

was £121,378, making a net cost of £221,475, on which grant is
paid of 100 per cent. on approved expenditure.
