DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
Opportunities to offer immunisation were reduced because
poliomyelitis was prevalent in adjoining areas during most of
the summer term. At such times it is best to avoid any injections
which are not urgently necessary.
The number of children between the ages of 5 and 15 years
immunised against Diphtheria during the year was 161 together
with 1,663 who were given re-inforcing injections.
