RHEUMATISM CLINIC.
The total number of children whose names were on the
"live" register at the end of 1947 was 154 (males.73, females
81). Appointments were made for 122 children, of whom 85
attended. Two cases were referred to Mayday Hospital for
admission and six for convalescent home treatment. A further
eight cases were referred for special investigation, three by the
Ear, Xose and Throat Specialist, one by the Orthopaedic Surgeon
and two by the Pediatrician.
