RATS AND MICE DESTRUCTION ACT, 1919.
INFESTATION ORDER, 1943.
An estimated total of 4,415 rats were destroyed. The types of premises found to be infested were:—

Sewers in the Borough were baited with good results, the
total number of rats destroyed therein being estimated at 7,144.
FOOD SUPPLY.
The supervision and inspection of the food supplies is carried
out by the Sanitary Inspectors who are all qualified in food
inspection.
