Clinic for Mentally Defective, Backward and Abnormal Children.
57 children were examined during 1942. The classifications
arrived at, together with recommendations made, are summarised
under:—
(1) Certified as Mentally Defective:
Recommendations.
(a) Recommended for Special Day School 14
(b) Referred to Occupation Centre or Institution 13

(a) Referred to a special class 16
(b) Further trial in ordinary class 10
(c) To attend St. Giles because of physical defect 2
