For ever)' case, stored blood from the Blood Transfusion
School, Sutton, was used.
One Domiciliary Obstetrical case died.

Infant Feeding and Weight on Discharge from Hospital.
In both hospitals normal infants were breast-fed every four
hours omitting the early morning feed.
Of 954 infants discharged from Mayday Hospital, 624 were
up to or over birth weight (65 per cent.)
Of 541 infants discharged from St. Mary's Maternity
Hospital, 427 were up to or over birth weight (79 per cent.)
Twins and Triplets.

There were 23 cases of Twins and one of Triplets. There was no maternal death.
