HOUSES LET IN LODGINGS.
There are 28 houses registered under the Byelaws.
3 visits were made for inspection purposes.
2 notices were served for various amendments.
2 notices were complied with.

OFFENSIVE TRADES.
Byelaws relating to Offensive Trades were adopted during
the latter part of the year 1925.
24 inspections were made of premises where such trades were
carried on and notices issued requiring amendments in accordance
with the Bvelaws.
The following are on the Register:—

RAG FLOCK ACTS, 1911 and 1928.
Four samples were obtained and subjected to analysis, the
results being as follows:—
Number 1 contained 6 parts of Chlorine per 100,000

The 4 samples conformed to the standard of cleanliness
scribed under the Rag Flock Regulations, 1912, made under the
Rag Flock Act, 1911. The legal maximum of chlorine allowed
is 30 parts per 100,000.
