The conditions for which these were admitted can be ascertained
by reference to the 'Booked' columns of the Numerical summary
of Cases. 6 Ante-natal clinics par week are now held at Lodge Road for
cases booked for Hospital delivery and 2 clinics per week for home delivery. A postnatal
clinic for cases delivered at home has also been institutod.
During 1940 the Obstetric Scrvice dealt with 2273 out of the total births
allocated to the. Borough.
