Council Houses for Tuberculous Families.
A new scheme has been initiated in the past year for the above
purpose. It is a very important part of any Care scheme as a means
of maintaining health and preventing the occurrence of Tuberculosis.
The tenancy of Council houses to Tuberculous families is subject
to co-operation on the part of the latter, but the system of
supervision applied does not involve any undesirable restrictions
on those who are well intentioned. Up to the end of the year 4
families had been rehoused under the scheme.
