PRIYATE SLAUGHTERHOUSES AND MEAT INSPECTION
At the end of 1934 there were 3 registered slaughterhouses
in the Borough. Registered Private Slaughterhouses have in
recent years gradually been reduced from 6 to 3. In two instances
they have been accommodated at the Public Slaughterhouses.
The number of visits paid to the Private Slaughterhouses for
the purpose of inspecting the meat during 1934 was 798.
