HOUSES LET IN LODGINGS.
There are now 49 houses registered under the bye-laws.
During the year these houses received 1,680 visits. On no occasion
were offences discovered for which piosecutions were necessary

At the present moment the following houses are registered as houses let in lodgings :—

The results of registration and inspection have, on the whole,
been satisfactory.
HOUSING OF THE WORKING CLASSES ACT.
No house was represented under Part II., Section 39, as unfit
for human habitation.
FACTORIES AND WORKSHOPS.
FACTORY AND WORKSHOPS ACT.
Section 132 of the Factory and Workshop Act, 1901,
provides:—
" The Medical Officer of Health of every District Council, shall,
in his Annual Report to them, report specifically on the
administration on this Act in workshops and workplaces, and
lie shall send a copy of his Annual Report, or so much of it as
deals with this subject, to the Secretary of State.
The following is a summary of the work done under this Act
in Croydon during 1910.
