Mineral Water. No further action was deemed necessary in the case of a bottle of
mineral water, which, it was alleged, possessed a peculiar taste. The trouble
arose from the cap of the bottle and on being referred to the manufacturers, it
was ascertained that a different method of capping had been adopted and therefore
no further complaints should arise.

Meat and Other Foods.The following articles were found during the year to be unfit for human consumption:-

The bulk of the food condemned was unfit for salvage and had to be destroyed,
but, where possible, it is the practice to use condemned food for animal feeding,
after sterilisation.
