Infant Welfare Clinics.
Included in Child Welfare facilities in the Crayford
Urban District is a system of three clinics. Four sessions
arc held per week from 2.30 to -t p.m. as follows:—
Crayford.
Town Hall. Infants, Wednesdays.
Toddlers, Alternate Fridays.
Barnehurst.
Methodist Hall, Infants. Thursdays
Risedale Road Toddlers, Alternate Fridays
Slade Green.
Baptist Chapel, Elm Road. Infants and
Toddlers, Alternate Tuesdays.
Each Infant Welfare Clinic is attended by the Doctor
in charge and the Health Visitor. Dried milk and
other goods, i.e., Cod Liver Oil and Malt, Glucose, Groats,
etc., are supplied to mothers on the advice of the Doctor,
at cost price.
Where the family income falls below a certain
scale milk may be provided either free, or at half-cost.
01 lbs. Dried Milk were given during the year.
Facilities are extended to the Ministry of Food for
the distribution of Cod Liver Oil, Orange Juice, and
National Dried Milk.
