Public Cleansing.
The salvage aspect of refuse collection has been very
much to the fore, and increased quantities of useful war
materials have been reclaimed.
The controlled tip at Slade Green Road has continued
in use, no difficulties having been experienced in keeping
crickets and rats to a minimum. No complaints in these
matters have been received.
