Owing to local industrial activity there is an increasing
demand for houses in Crayford.
There are very few houses to let and the number of
applications for Council Houses keeps increasing out of all
proportion to the number of houses available.
The majority of these applications are from people who are
dissatisfied with their present accommodation either on account
of the high rents, unsuitable type of house, or owing to the
fact that they live outside the area and work in Crayford.
