LOCAL SICKNESS.
The following is a summary of the information received from
the Regional Office of the Ministry of National Insurance, which
indicates for the area, numbers of "First Certificates" of sickness
benefit received at the Local Office.

Whilst these figures give some indication of the major trend of sickness in the area, they must not be taken as being exact as the area for the Ministry statistics is not quite the same as that covered by the Urban District.
